We hereby inform you, that the management of our company took the decision of restructuring the activity of selling electricity to end customers after the end of 2018, with the aim of limiting the supply of many small customers connected to low and medium voltage grid and such with standardized load profile (STP).
Energy MT EAD will continue its activity in the sector, strengthening its positions and focus in two areas, namely:

Wholesale of electricity, including supply to large industrial consumers, import and export of electricity, expert and consulting activities in the sector;

Forecasting, balancing and purchasing electricity from RES producers, as well as administering the participation of RES producers on the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange, in line with the latest regulatory changes, and in order to be 100% servicing of RES producers, we are committed to suppling electricity for their own needs.
In conclusion, we would like to assure all customers and suppliers that the decision will not affect the implementation of already concluded contracts for the purchase and / or supply of electricity.

In January 2016, Energy MT EAD became a member of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange and started trading.

On 01.11.2014 the combined balancing group of Energy MT EAD started real operation. The successful beginning and good results of the balancing group are due to one-year tests conducted with producers of electricity from renewable sources and high-efficiency co-generation /ÂÅÊÏ?/.Energy MT also provides additional services such as forecasting of the hourly production of electricity from renewable sources.

On 14.10.2013 by Decision ¹ È2-Ë-331of the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission was issued a supplement to the license for electricity trading of Energy MT EAD, allowing the company to be “a coordinator of combined balancing group”.
