Energy MT has a stable contractual relationships with the major sources of electricity for the free market:
The major quantity of electricity which is traded on the free market, is produced by state-owned companies Kozloduy NPP EAD, Maritsa East 2 TPP EAD, NEK EAD. Electricity is provided by manufacturers through organized online electronic platforms auctions on which Energy MT EAD is registered and actively participate.
Since the beginning of 2016 operates the Bulgarian independent power exchange platform for day-ahead trading. Energy MT EAD is a member of IBEX and actively trades on the power exchange since January 2016.
